About The Position

Caregiver / Personal Attendant / Direct Support Professional (DSP) Location: Pleasant Hill, CA Pay: $18.00 - $18.50 Being IHSS ready, or willing to sign up for IHSS is a PLUS. Thrive Support Services, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Caregiver / Personal Attendant to provide compassionate care and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities. This rewarding role involves empowerment through helping with daily tasks and fostering independence.

Requirements

• At least one (1) year experience working as a caregiver or in-home aide, preferably with adults with developmental disabilities
• High level of accountability and dependability
• Must be able to provide hands-on care and support including bathing, dressing, changing depends, assist with medication, etc
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Must have a valid California Driver License
• Must have access to reliable vehicle
• Must be able to pass DOJ fingerprinting/criminal background check
• Must be able to obtain CPR/First Aid certification
• Must be able to obtain TB test result
• Must have valid auto insurance with $100,000-$300,000 bodily injury liability insurance

Nice To Haves

• Being IHSS ready, or willing to sign up for IHSS is a PLUS.

Responsibilities

• The Caregiver / Personal Attendant will support our developmentally disabled clients with their daily living activities of such as dressing, grooming, meal planning and preparation, medication administration and community outing.
• Other duties will include light housekeeping.

• Pay: $18.00 - $18.50
