Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid Driver's License with proof of active insurance and registration for Personal Care Assistants responsible for running errands.
• Reliable transportation to get to work on time and run errands for clients.
• Ability to push, pull, bend, squat, turn, pivot, transfer, and lift at least 50 pounds.
• Successful results of background check, motor vehicle report, drug testing, and any other state-specific requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, caring companionship to clients.
• Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Monitor and document clients' conditions, ensuring their safety at all times.
• Provide housekeeping and laundry services.
• Prepare and serve meals and snacks.
• Escort clients to/from appointments as needed.
• Run errands and shop for food and personal items as needed.
