Requirements

• Prefer 1,000 hours of long-term care experience with geriatric or chronically ill persons.
• Exceptions for recently licensed Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) or Personal Care Aids (PCAs).
• Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position.
• Must have reliable transportation and proof of a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance.
• Pass a criminal background check and a drug screen.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in providing companionship and housekeeping services.
• Previous experience in a home health agency.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and assistance to clients in their daily activities.
• Help clients with personal care tasks such as dressing and grooming.
• Transport clients as needed, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
• Communicate effectively with clients and their families.
