About The Position

The In-Home Caregiver position at Allpro Homecare is designed for individuals who are passionate about providing quality care to veterans. This role involves delivering non-medical personal care and assistance with daily living activities, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients in their homes. Caregivers will have the flexibility to set their own schedules and will be compensated weekly, with opportunities for advancement and online training.

Requirements

• Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Experience as a caregiver is preferable.
• Valid driver's license and reliable daily transportation.
• Willingness to travel at least 45 minutes is a must.
• Hoyer Lift experience (specific to client).
• Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations.
• Adequate physical endurance.

Responsibilities

• Assists client with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Assists client with toileting, including use of bedpan, commode, or toilet.
• Assists client with transfers and ambulation including use of cane, walker, and wheelchair.
• Performs housekeeping duties.
• Plans, prepares, and serves meals, with assistance from the clients when they are able.
• Assists with shopping and errands.
• Reports any unusual events or occurrences to the administrator.
• Acts quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.
• Completes all other duties within the Client Service Plan.
