About The Position

Right at Home is looking for passionate individuals to join a dynamic care team providing care for our clients in-home. We provide care for Seniors and Disabled Adults throughout Southeast and Northeast Indianapolis, Hamilton County and Johnson County. Experience preferred but not necessary- we will train the right candidate! Certified Nursing Assistants and Home Health Aides a plus. We are hiring immediately for weekend shifts. You can make a difference in your career by helping people stay in the comfort of their homes!

Requirements

• Verbal communication and listening skills.
• Ability to promote and maintain a safe environment.
• Dependability.
• Possess a valid driver's license and have use of an insured automobile or access to adequate transportation for the job.
• Communicate effectively with office staff on a weekly basis.
• Must be willing to follow all company policies and take direction from office staff.

Nice To Haves

• Experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide.

Responsibilities

• Provides various personal care and related paraprofessional services in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Provides for the personal needs and comfort of patients in their homes.
• Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living which include personal hygiene, ambulation, dressing, grooming, and assisting with feeding.
• Engages in activities with clients such as puzzles, card games, and conversation.
• Performs patient-specific activities that are taught by a nurse, including assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises and meal preparation.
• Performs homemaking activities including vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry, and cleaning bathrooms.
