About The Position

Caregiver Med-Tech - $6,000 Sign-On Bonus (to be paid throughout the first year of employment). Butler, PA - Full-time ; 4 - 10 hour shifts; 1:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. with every other weekend off. Caregiver Med-Tech Pay Rate starting at $17.90 per hour. Lutheran SeniorLife provides a comprehensive array of community-based health and social service programs throughout western Pennsylvania. The Caregiver-Med Tech helps to enhance the resident’s lifestyle by overseeing and assisting residents with their care on a daily basis. Focusing on promoting independence when able, the Caregiver-Med Tech provides all levels of care needed to promote overall wellbeing of the resident. The Caregiver-Med Tech is responsible to the Health Care Coordinator/Case Manager or his/her designee.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) as per regulation. Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Successful completion of state medication approved administration course and direct care programs.
  • CPR/First Aide or successful completion after hire.
  • Basic knowledge of computers required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with service for elders is preferred.
