As a Caregiver/Medication Technician, you will be responsible for assisting with the daily needs of our residents in an Assisted Living Facility, providing medication administration, and ensuring the comfort and safety of residents under your care.
Administer medications to residents in compliance with Title 22 regulations and physician instructions.
Monitor residents' medication records and report any errors to the Lead Medication Technician/Administrator.
Provide assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and toileting.
Ensure residents have timely access to medications by placing and tracking medication orders.
Maintain accurate, progressive documentation and regularly communicate with physicians and medical professionals.
Schedule and coordinate doctor’s appointments for residents as needed.
Work with medical professionals to promote resident engagement, reduce pain, and maintain independence.
Ensure a clean and safe environment for both residents and staff.
Stay composed and take appropriate action during emergencies.
Align performance with the facility’s Program Design for residents with developmental disabilities.
Complete specialized training for working with residents with developmental disabilities.
Achieve goals outlined in each resident's Individual Program Plan (IPP).
Maintain detailed progress notes to track accomplishments of IPP objectives.

Previous experience as a caregiver managing 20 plus residents within an 8hr shift.
