About The Position
Consumer Direct Care Network Washington is currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Caregivers. Our mission is to provide exceptional home and community-based services that empower individuals and families of all ages, including children, older adults, and people with disabilities, to maintain their independence and safety in their own homes. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting them with daily activities and ensuring their well-being. In this position, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that support our clients in their daily lives. This includes helping with activities of daily living such as walking, bathing, grooming, dressing, eating, and toileting. You will also transport clients to appointments, errands, and activities, assist with light housekeeping, remind clients to take their medication, and monitor and report any changes in their health, behavior, and needs. Your role will require you to address client needs with respect and a strong focus on safety, ensuring that they receive the highest level of care possible. We offer a supportive work environment with flexible scheduling options, allowing you to choose between part-time and full-time positions. Additionally, you will receive paid training and have access to resources such as Carina.org to help you find clients. As part of our commitment to our employees, we provide union representation and benefits through SEIU 775, subject to eligibility requirements. The starting wage for this position ranges from $21.12 to $23.94, reflecting our dedication to fair compensation for the important work our caregivers do.
