Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications preferred.
- Previous experience in caregiving or related field is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and families.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Compassionate demeanor and a genuine desire to help others.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Background check and drug screening may be required.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene and meal preparation.
- Engage clients in social and recreational activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
- Monitor and document clients' health and behavior, reporting any changes to the nursing staff.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and their families.
- Administer medication as directed and ensure compliance with care plans.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients and staff.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance client care and outcomes.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
