Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and car insurance (Required)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable
- Ability to provide person-centered care
Nice To Haves
- HHA or CNA certification preferred but not required
- Previous caregiving experience (home care or facility-based) is a plus
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
- A compassionate and caring attitude
- Strong communication and reliability
- A genuine desire to help others
- Experience or certifications (preferred but not always required)
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) , including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Support mobility, transfers, and ambulation while ensuring client safety
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding while encouraging proper nutrition
- Provide medication reminders (non-clinical)
- Offer companionship and emotional support through meaningful engagement
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment
- Observe and report any changes in physical or mental condition to the care team
- Follow individualized care plans and adhere to company policies and procedures
