Caregiver (Home Health Aide) Weekend
About The Position
inHom Senior Care has been serving seniors in Burnsville and surrounding areas for over 20 years. Position Summary As a Caregiver at inHom Senior Care, you will provide compassionate, one-on-one support to seniors, assisting them with daily living activities to help them maintain independence and dignity at home. You will build meaningful relationships while ensuring clients receive the best possible care tailored to their needs.
Requirements
- Compassionate heart and a genuine desire to help others
- Prior caregiving experience is a plus (but not required—we provide training!)
- Ability to communicate effectively and follow care plans
- Must be reliable, patient, and respectful
- Ability to pass a background check
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation (for driving-based shifts)
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) , including:
- Bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Mobility assistance (transfers, walking, exercises)
- Toileting and incontinence care
- Medication reminders
- Light housekeeping, including laundry and meal preparation
- Accompany clients to appointments or assist with errands
- Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote well-being
- Follow individualized care plans and document services provided
- Report changes in client condition to supervisor
