We are looking for new caregivers to join our home care team. Caregiver Perks: PTO - paid time off Medical/Dental (must meet minimum hours worked requirement) Weekly Pay In-services/Training Dementia training EVV Performance incentive available Caregivers responsibilities (snapshot) As a Caregiver you will be responsible for assisting the client in aspects of their daily life as is indicated by their care plan. Caregivers have an important role in allowing our clients to maintain their independence. Caregivers are provided training and tools to be successful in their role, including training on the Activities of Daily Living (ADL) and are provided access to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). CPR, First Aid, and Dementia Training are also provided to all interested caregivers as Professional Development. 1. The Caregiver will demonstrate understanding of and encourage the independent living philosophy. 2. The JEVS Care at Home Caregiver will complete a competency examination after attending a training and orientation that address standard regulations. Annually thereafter, the JCAH Caregiver will complete an annual re-certification course and test. 3. The Caregiver will maintain confidentiality of client information as per HIPAA regulations. 4. The Caregiver will complete instrumental activities of daily living, according to the client’s Plan of Care.
