Requirements

• At least 6 months of professional caregiving experience (non-family care)
• Reliable transportation to Valparaiso, IN
• High school diploma or GED
• Must pass a national background check, have CPR and TB Test
• Valid photo ID and Social Security card (for employment verification)
• Dependable, compassionate, and professional

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, ambulation, and transfers per the individualized plan of care
• Monitor client’s condition and report changes promptly
• Meal preparation and nutrition support
• Light housekeeping related to client care
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Support use of mobility devices (wheelchair, walker)
• Provide medication reminders (no administration)
• Maintain accurate records of services provided using our mobile app
• Follow infection control and safety procedures (CDC-compliant handwashing)
• Uphold agency policies, procedures, and professional conduct
