Requirements
- High school diploma (or equivalent)
- Six (6) months of experience in a healthcare role, preferred
- Dementia Care experience is needed.
- CPR certification; our office can aid
- Clear Background Check & Drug Screen We cover the cost
- Compassionate and helping nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
Nice To Haves
- Valid CA driver’s license, auto insurance and transportation, preferred
Responsibilities
- Attend to the individual needs of clients which may include: Assistance with grooming, bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, incontinent care, toileting, transferring, ambulation, range of motion, and companionship.
- Perform homemaking activities which may include: Meal preparation, light housekeeping, transportation.
- Interact with client in a manner that displays warmth and promotes a caring environment.
- Communicate and interact effectively and tactfully with the client's visitors and families.
