About The Position

Right at Home is seeking passionate individuals to join our dynamic care team as Caregivers/Home Care Aides. This role involves providing in-home care for seniors and disabled adults throughout North Central Indianapolis and surrounding counties. The position offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in clients' lives by assisting them with daily activities and personal care.

Requirements

• Verbal communication and listening skills.
• Ability to promote and maintain a safe environment.
• Dependability.
• Possess a valid driver's license and have access to an insured automobile or adequate transportation for the job.
• Willingness to follow all company policies and take direction from office staff.

Nice To Haves

• Experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, ambulation, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
• Engage clients in activities such as puzzles, card games, and conversation.
• Assist with prescribed range of motion exercises as taught by a nurse.
• Prepare meals according to instructions.
• Perform homemaking activities including vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry, and cleaning bathrooms.
