About The Position

ComForCare Home Care is seeking compassionate caregivers in San Diego, CA to support children with autism, ADHD, Down syndrome, and other developmental disabilities. Requirements

• Experience working with children with developmental disabilities (professional or personal). Yes, babysitting counts!
• Ability to pass a background check
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
• Patience, empathy, and a desire to work with children
• Registered Home Care Aide (HCA) with the State of California or at least willing to register.

Nice To Haves

• CPR & First Aid certification is a plus but not required

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on care and emotional support to children with developmental challenges
• Assist with daily activities, including meal preparation, personal care, and mobility support
• Implement behavior and communication strategies as directed by therapists or parents
• Engage children in interactive, sensory-friendly activities
• Maintain a safe and supportive environment
