About The Position

Liberty Healthcare is hiring for full-time "Habilitation Specialist" positions at the Robert M. Greer Center in Enid. The Greer Center is an intermediate care facility that provides a wide array of services to adults who have developmental disabilities and behavioral support needs. This position is a great career opportunity for individuals with professional or personal caregiving experience, as well as for those who are not yet experienced but would like to be trained. It is a challenging and rewarding role with responsibilities that include working directly with clients, continuously monitoring client activities, behaviors, health, and safety, providing appropriate interventions, engaging in pro-social activities, supporting clients with their daily living activities, and helping clients build skills that foster independence and good health.

Requirements

• Compassionate and genuine interest in serving and supporting people with disabilities
• Healthcare, human services, or other professional/personal caregiver experience is helpful but not required

Responsibilities

• Working directly with clients
• Continuously monitoring client activities, behaviors, health, and safety
• Providing appropriate interventions as necessary
• Engaging in pro-social activities with clients
• Supporting clients who need assistance with their activities of daily living
• Helping clients build related skills which will foster independence and good health

Benefits

• $18.54 per hour (approximately $38,500 annually)
• $1.00 per hour shift differential for hours worked between 6pm and 6am
• $1,000 sign-on bonus ($250 with first paycheck + $750 after 6 months of employment)
