About The Position
Care to Stay Home is actively onboarding compassionate, dependable caregivers to support our growing client base in Spokane and surrounding communities. This role is mission-critical to delivering high-quality, person-centered care that enables clients to live safely and comfortably at home. As a Caregiver, you will provide hands-on support and daily living assistance that directly enhances client dignity, independence, and quality of life. We prioritize long-term client matching to ensure consistency, stability, and meaningful relationships. Working with seniors—especially those living with dementia or Alzheimer’s—requires a special skill set and a desire to work with seniors. Our caregivers have both. Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of caregiving experience (senior care preferred)
- Ability to meet physical demands, including lifting up to 40 lbs , transfers, repositioning, and mobility support
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Strong attendance and reliability—clients depend on you
- Ability to pass criminal background and driving record checks (no felonies)
Responsibilities
- Assist with bathing, grooming, hygiene, and mobility
- Meal preparation and light housekeeping
- Medication reminders and stand-by or hands-on assistance
- Bedbound care for higher-acuity clients
- Errands and tasks that improve the living environment
