About The Position

Care to Stay Home is actively onboarding compassionate, dependable caregivers to support our growing client base in Spokane and surrounding communities. This role is mission-critical to delivering high-quality, person-centered care that enables clients to live safely and comfortably at home. As a Caregiver, you will provide hands-on support and daily living assistance that directly enhances client dignity, independence, and quality of life. We prioritize long-term client matching to ensure consistency, stability, and meaningful relationships. We invest in our caregivers by aligning schedules, clients, and support structures to your skill level—so you can focus on delivering exceptional care while maintaining work-life balance. We offer a range of in-home services for seniors, including daily living care, post-surgical care, stroke recovery care, dementia and Alzheimer’s care, and respite care for loved ones. Working with seniors—especially those living with dementia or Alzheimer’s—requires a special skill set and a desire to work with seniors. Our caregivers have both. Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of caregiving experience (senior care preferred)
  • Ability to meet physical demands, including lifting up to 40 lbs , transfers, repositioning, and mobility support
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Strong attendance and reliability—clients depend on you
  • Ability to pass criminal background and driving record checks (no felonies)

Responsibilities

  • Assist with bathing, grooming, hygiene, and mobility
  • Meal preparation and light housekeeping
  • Medication reminders and stand-by or hands-on assistance
  • Bedbound care for higher-acuity clients
  • Errands and tasks that improve the living environment
