About The Position

The Caregiver/Direct Care Provider role at Centre For Neuro Skills involves providing direct care to individuals with traumatic brain injuries. The position focuses on supervising and training patients in Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and therapeutic home programs, while also engaging them in social and recreational activities. Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Successful completion of a drug screen, health screen, and criminal record check (fingerprints) for caregiver positions.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in caregiving or working with individuals with brain injuries is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach, monitor, administer and document individual patient programs including ADLs and therapeutic home programs in English.
• Perform bed, bath, toilet, and chair transfers (up to 20 times per shift) using approved transfer techniques.
• Ensure the safety of patients, visitors, staff, and yourself when interacting with patients who may have behavioral outbursts.
