Requirements

• Kind, caring and compassionate
• At least 2 years of experience providing in-home care to seniors or other home-bound persons
• Dependable and punctual
• Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license and current auto insurance
• Self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision
• Resident of Philadelphia metro area (Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, Bucks, and Philadelphia Counties in PA or New Castle County in DE)

Responsibilities

• Provides conversation and companionship to clients
• Comfortable providing personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, hygiene, and incontinence care
• Meal preparation and cooking
• Medication reminders
• Light housekeeping, including laundry, vacuuming and dishes
• Assists with transportation for medical appointments, shopping, errands, and outings
• Transfer assistance and fall prevention, as needed
• Maintains comfortable and safe living environment
• Participates in training and professional development opportunities to develop and enhance skills
