About The Position

MUST BE A STATE TESTED NURSING ASSISTANT TO QUALIFY FOR THIS OPENING! NEW MANAGEMENT TEAM IN PLACE WITH A PROFESSIONAL WORKING ENVIRONMENT! Full-time positions/PT positions available FOR 7A -7P & 7P-7A Job Summary: The Nurse Aide is responsible for providing direct personal care and support to residents in a skilled nursing/long-term care setting, promoting dignity, comfort, and safety under nursing supervision. Key responsibilities: Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and eating. Perform safe resident transfers, ambulation assistance, and positioning. Take and record vital signs, weight, intake/output, and report changes to nursing staff. Provide basic range-of-motion and mobility support; assist with restorative care programs. Help with feeding, dining assistance, and maintaining a clean, comfortable environment. Observe and document resident condition and behavior; report concerns promptly. Follow infection control, safety protocols, and facility policies. Promote resident rights, privacy, and independence; support social and emotional needs. Participate in care planning, shift reports, and team communication. Minimum qualifications: Valid Nurse Aide certification per state requirements. Current CPR/BLS preferred or required per facility policy. Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred but not required. Good communication, empathy, reliability, and ability to work in a team. Ability to lift/assist residents and stand/walk for extended periods. Experience with dementia care or restorative nursing programs. Additional certifications (e.g., Medication Aide, HHA) a plus. Physical/other requirements: Must meet physical demands of the role (lifting, bending, prolonged standing). Pass background check, drug screen, and TB/health screening per facility policy. Willingness to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed. Requirements
