Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• For CNA positions: current and valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the state of Delaware.
• Must have a valid driver's license, clean driving record, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance.
• Paid for by Neighborly Home Care: Must pass a Criminal Background Check, Tuberculosis test, a Drug test and a Work Physical.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in caregiving or a related field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, compassionate, and committed to providing high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Utilize EVV (Electronic Visit Verification) for each shift.
• Provide compassionate and professional care to clients in their homes.
• Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Monitor and document client health, reporting any changes to the care team.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Transport clients to appointments or errands (if applicable).
• Provide medication reminders to ensure client health and safety.
