Requirements

  • A passion to serve and help others live their best lives possible.
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate.
  • Access to reliable transportation.
  • Experience Caring for our beloved Veterans
  • A high regard for elders
  • Previous experience as a home caregiver with clients living w/dementia.
  • CA Home Care Aide registration
  • Ability to work in Fremont, Newark and Union City
  • Good health and a positive spirit
  • FT Hours Available
  • Available to travel and work in Alameda and Trivalley locations.
  • Able to provide Caregiver Training and conduct Supervisory Visitations

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the activities of daily living to help clients stay independent and in their own homes
  • Provide assistance with personal care
  • Assist with mobility, transfers and range of motion exercises
  • Handle meal planning, preparation and feeding
  • Properly manage household needs
  • Provide companionship and respite services for the family
  • Engaging in meaningful activities
  • Listening to exciting stories
