About The Position

Looking for a passionate, dependable, caring person to assist our client in Chicago with their ADLs (activities of daily living) in their own home. If you would prefer a job that is 1 ON 1 please apply! HOURS AVAILABLE: Evenings 5pm-10pm and Weekends 9am-10pm. If you are not available for this exact schedule, but you can do something close, we still want you to apply! Requirements

Must have Gait Belt experience
Ability to interpret the client’s provided plan of care
Reliable transportation
Ability to be flexible and adapt to new situations
Must be able to be reached via phone or email for shift schedules, client updates and/or emergencies
Able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs
nonsmoker

Nice To Haves

Prior experience with dementia patients and senior care, a plus!

Responsibilities

Assisting with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, bathroom needs, and feeding
Assist with transfers using a gait belt
Providing companionship and conversation
Performing light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and linen changing
Laying out clothes and assisting with dressing
Planning and preparing meals
Providing medication reminders
