About The Position

AW Health Care is a women-owned enterprise that prides itself in taking exceptional care of homebound clients throughout the Metro St Louis area. We are currently seeking individuals who are bi-lingual in English and Spanish and want to work in the St Charles County areas. The position requires availability between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM for shifts that can range from two to twelve hours in length. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to customer service and a genuine passion for geriatric care, excelling at building positive relationships with clients and their families while providing motivation and support.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a reliable/personal vehicle with auto insurance coverage
• Ability to work occasional weekends
• Ability to work in homes with pets and smokers, preferred
• One year of experience working as a Caregiver / CNA / Home Care Aide for geriatric patients, preferred
• Experience working with clients with dementia is a plus

Responsibilities

• Assisting with mobility, bathing, dressing, and other personal hygiene tasks
• Light housekeeping, laundry, bed linen changes, and meal preparation
• Providing medication reminders
• Running client errands and offering companionship
