Position: Weekend & On-Call Caregiver This role is perfect for caregivers seeking extra hours , flexible scheduling , or a position that fits around school, family, or another job . You will support clients as needed on weekends and may be called for short-notice coverage during the week. Available Shifts Weekends: Saturday & Sunday Optional On-Call weekday availability Shift lengths available: 4, 6, 8, or 10 hours
Requirements
- Active HCA, CNA, or NAC certification
- Compassionate, reliable, and professional demeanor
- Valid government-issued photo ID and Social Security card
- TB test (current)
- CPR and Food Safety Certification
- Ability to follow Washington state caregiving regulations
- Dependable communication and professionalism
Responsibilities
- Support clients with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, dressing)
- Provide companionship and emotional encouragement
- Assist with meal prep and dietary needs
- Offer mobility and safety support
- Medication reminders
- Light housekeeping
- Document and report care updates
- Ensure a warm, safe, and respectful environment
