About The Position

Allpro Homecare is seeking an In-Home Caregiver to provide non-medical personal care and assistance to our veteran population. This role focuses on enhancing the quality of life, safety, and healthy living for clients in their homes through various supportive services. The caregiver will work as an independent contractor, allowing for flexible scheduling and the opportunity for advancement within the company.

Requirements

• Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Experience as a caregiver is preferable.
• Valid driver's license and reliable daily transportation.
• Hoyer Lift experience (specific to client).
• Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations.
• Adequate physical endurance.

Responsibilities

• Assists client with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Assists client with toileting, including use of bedpan, commode, or toilet.
• Assists client with transfers and ambulation, including use of cane, walker, and wheelchair.
• Performs housekeeping duties.
• Plans, prepares, and serves meals, with assistance from the clients when they are able.
• Assists with shopping and errands.
• Reports any unusual events or occurrences to the administrator.
• Acts quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.
• Completes all other duties within the Client Service Plan.
