Requirements

  • Ability to treat and care for clients and their property with dignity and respect.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license or state identification
  • Possess valid auto insurance (if applicable for driving clients)
  • Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull 25 pounds
  • Ability to bend, twist, stoop, kneel, and reach
  • Ability to adapt to various living environments and locations

Responsibilities

  • Companionship & Personal Care: Providing companionship and conversation
  • Assisting with bathing, grooming, toileting, and incontinence issues
  • Providing stabilization and assistance with walking
  • Household Support: Preparing meals and cleaning up meal-related items
  • Performing light housekeeping tasks (dusting, vacuuming, changing linens, etc.)
  • Washing and ironing laundry
  • Health & Logistics: Providing medication and appointment reminders
  • Running errands and accompanying clients to appointments
  • Providing specialized care, including Advanced Alzheimer's/Dementia and Hospice care
  • Reporting: Documenting daily activities and reporting any significant changes in a client’s needs
  • Maintaining regular communication with your supervisor and the office staff
