As a Behavior Support Specialist, you will support individuals diagnosed with a disability and challenging behaviors in a day program or group home setting. Your role will involve teaching, learning, and interacting with the persons served to help them reach their full potential. Additionally, you will assist individuals with personal hygiene and household duties.

  • Must have High School Diploma, GED, or Work-Keys Bronze Certificate.
  • Be at least 17 years old.
  • Valid Driver's License for a minimum of two years with a good driving record.
  • Pass drug and alcohol screenings.
  • Pass criminal background checks.
  • Must be available for 2-4 weeks of PAID training, M-F 8:30am-5:00pm.
  • OPTIONAL: Bilingual in ASL (American Sign Language) or Spanish preferred, but NOT required.
  • Paid on-the-job training.
