Requirements

  • At least 1 year of caregiver experience is required.
  • Proficient in utilizing computers for various tasks, including sending and managing emails with attachments, using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail).
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
  • Willing and able to work a flexible schedule to meet business needs which could include nights and weekends.
  • A genuine desire to help others and understand their needs and challenges.
  • Ability to identify and solve problems effectively, whether in the office or client's home.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and remain calm in challenging circumstances.
  • Identifying subtle changes in clients' conditions and ensuring accuracy in tasks.
  • Effectively prioritizing tasks and managing schedules for both caregiving and administrative responsibilities.
  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • Experience with CRM or scheduling software.

Responsibilities

  • Providing personal care: Assisting clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
  • Assisting with mobility: Helping clients move safely around their homes, including transferring from beds, wheelchairs, or vehicles.
  • Meal preparation and nutrition: Planning and preparing nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions or preferences.
  • Light housekeeping: Maintaining a clean and safe environment, including tasks like laundry, cleaning, and organizing.
  • Companionship and emotional support: Providing a stable and supportive presence, engaging clients in activities, and fostering social interaction.
  • Transportation: Driving clients to appointments, errands, or social activities.
  • Observing and reporting: Monitoring changes in clients' physical or mental health and reporting promptly to office staff.
  • Greeting visitors and answering phone calls.
  • Performing general office duties: handling correspondence, copying, and filing.
  • Maintaining client and caregiver records and updating databases.
  • Assisting with caregiver recruitment.
  • Screen applicants, check references and schedule interviews.
  • Monitoring schedules.
  • On-call rotation.
