As a Caregiver, you’ll provide support, encouragement, and daily assistance to residents—helping them live with dignity, comfort, and joy. Unlike the fast-paced hustle of a hospital, our environment is warm, welcoming, and less hectic, giving you time to truly connect and care.

Requirements

• Experience working with seniors with dementia including participation in activities is preferred, but not necessary.
• Acceptable proficiency in English to perform job duties, communicate with supervisor and other employees, and respond and communicate to emergency situations.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Ability to maintain a positive and friendly demeanor toward the residents and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Provide kind, caring, and consistent companionship and support to residents.
• Provide assistance, encouragement, and restorative interventions for Memory Care residents to be as independent as possible in their activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility.
• Participate in and lead one on one and group activities.
• Serve residents during mealtime, assist with memory care laundry, and basic housekeeping within the memory care neighborhood.
• Ensure that resident/family/employee concerns receive timely response and follow up, striving to provide a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward all residents, visitors, and co-workers.
