Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice or related field.
  • Two (2) years recent work experience in law enforcement with a state or federal agency.
  • Successfully pass background check and drug test required on the contract.
  • Current, valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Provide students with CTT instruction in a designated area of instruction.
  • Motivate and counsel students in areas of behavior, training, and/or study habits.
  • Coordinate with other industry team members to resolve issues affecting student training.
  • Develop and prepare lessons. Recommend curricula changes and supplemental materials.
  • Participate in student performance evaluations. Prepare required documentation and evaluations.
  • Administer and correct tests. Maintain progress and attendance reports.
  • Control use of supplies, materials, and equipment. Recommend purchases.
  • Assist in developing community linkages and partnerships.
  • Access and train students to use computers and applicable software.
  • Monitor student progress in the program by ensuring compliance with established Data Integrity guidelines.
  • Teach, model, and evaluate student employability skills.
  • Develop and conduct enrichment program as assigned.
  • Transport students for training purposes as needed.
  • Maintain accountability of students and property; adhere to safety practices.
  • Cultivate and maintain a climate on Center which is free of harassment, intimidation, and disrespect.
  • Promote student attainment of career success standards through modeling appropriate skills.
  • Work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
  • Perform all other duties as requested.

Benefits

  • Salary: $60,000.00/yearly
  • Retirement Plan: Eligible to participate in the company 401(k) with Company matching after 1 year
  • Vacation: Minimum of ten days per year. Actual days are based upon your Service Date
  • Sick Time: Ten days per year
  • Holidays: 12 paid holidays per year
  • Work Model: Onsite
