The College of Natural Sciences (CNS) at the University of Texas at Austin strives to foster a work environment that enables all employees to contribute at the highest possible level to support the mission of the University. What starts here really does change the world. The Institutional Research and Analytics team serves as a hub for data, research and evaluation services within the College. The IR team supports CNS by providing expertise in evaluation, education research, and data analytics. The position is located on our Austin, TX campus. Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer without sponsorship. The Data Analyst will be responsible for planning and implementing an assessment plan and data tracking system to understand the results of existing and new programs, tactics, and interventions aimed at supporting student career success. The Analyst will evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and recommend programmatic changes to achieve milestones and student outcomes. This role is critical in using data-driven insights to guide problem-solving, improve processes, and ensure CNS Career Success achieves its goals as part of I.A. 4.4 Career Success, which is an initiative part of the President's 10-year strategic plan at The University of Texas at Austin. The position will work closely with stakeholders to ensure the priorities of the College are incorporated into all aspects of the position, including fostering wellness, belonging, and success for all students.
