About The Position
Trinity Rail Shipping and Receiving is hiring (a/an) Career Shipping and Receiving Forklift Op. at our Eagle Pass, Texas Plant 1041. The [Shipping and Receiving] position is a great opportunity for a resilient, team-minded individual who doesn't stray away from a challenge. As a shipping and receiving forklift operator at Trinity Rail, you'll operate mobile equipment such as a forklift, and transfer and unload incoming trucks, and organize material in the yard or while loading trucks. Must have experience driving and operating a 30,000 Lb forklift and heavy equipment or material. Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Speak and understand English and Spanish
- Minimum of 1 yr experience on a 30, 000 lb forklift
- Certification will be provided and a driving test of equipment will be given before hiring.
Responsibilities
- Operate a 30,000 lb forklift , lift trailers and truck to move steel material or transfer loads
- Follow all safety rules and practices
- Perform other duties as assigned in the yard, pick up dunnage and maintain workspace clean and organized
- Must be dependable and able to work shift work or overtime as needed
