About The Position
The UC Irvine School of Social Ecology is a leading institution in the field of social ecology, with a strong focus on interdisciplinary research and community engagement. We strive to develop future leaders equipped with solid communication, critical thinking, analytical, technological, and interpersonal skills through experiential field study opportunities. Our approach employs a co-curricular method, where students engage in hands-on learning experiences that apply theoretical concepts to real-world problems. Our Field Study program is a requirement for all students, providing them with practical experience in their chosen field. We also offer a comprehensive Career Services Pipeline, featuring job placement programs, certification options, alumni mentorship, career panels, workshops, networking events, internship and job fairs, and guidance for career and graduate school planning.
