Reporting to the Director of Business Career Services, the Employer Engagement Specialist supports the office's mission of preparing students for lifelong career success through customized coaching, competency-focused teaching, experience-based learning, and connectivity with industry. The Employer Engagement Specialist will establish strategic and mutually beneficial relationships with industry partners to increase the number of quality opportunities available for Ivy students. This specific role will focus on expanding Ivy's reach beyond Iowa. As such, this role will involve a large amount of regional travel (Minnesota, Illinois, Nebraska, Missouri, Kansas) and some nationwide travel. The ideal candidate will be a highly relational communicator who is diligent in preparation, execution, and follow-through. The selected individual must be an organized collaborator who takes the initiative, is detail oriented, and values continuous improvement.
