About The Position

The Career Services Office is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Student Data Analyst to support data-driven decision-making and reporting initiatives. This position plays a key role in collecting, organizing, analyzing, and presenting data related to student employment outcomes, employer engagement, events, and departmental performance metrics. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable working with data systems, and able to translate data into meaningful insights that support student success initiatives.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, charts, data organization)
  • Experience with data mining, data cleaning, and basic data analysis techniques
  • Familiarity with Monday.com or similar project management platforms
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Upper-Division Courses Completed
  • 6 Months of Directly Relevant Experience

Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and maintain data related to student appointments, career outcomes, employer partnerships, and events
  • Analyze data trends and generate reports to support strategic planning and assessment efforts
  • Develop dashboards and visual reports for internal stakeholders
  • Assist with survey distribution, data collection, and analysis (e.g., graduate outcomes surveys)
  • Support data entry and data integrity within internal systems
  • Utilize Monday.com to track projects, workflows, and departmental metrics
  • Present findings in a clear and professional format to supervisors and stakeholders
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive student and employer information
