We are growing again! The Career Services Advisor/Placement Coordinator works with students to help identify and obtain their first jobs in their new career/field. This individual is focused on the career development of students and graduates, while establishing relationships with prospective employers. Look at us! Presents employment opportunities to graduates and helps them in their job search by presenting workshops and providing individual coaching regarding career search strategies and methods, resume and interview preparation and other professional development topics. Works to build relationships within the community to secure job placement opportunities for graduates and then actively pursues all avenues for job searches and seeks qualified entry-level employment to match graduates skills. Maintains placement records which are consolidated into reports and submitted to accreditation agencies, the State licensing agency, the school administration, faculty, and students. The Job Placement Coordinator is ultimately responsible for assisting students to prepare for the workforce in their chosen career field.
