About The Position

The Part-Time Remote Career Services Advisor (CSA) supports graduates in obtaining training-related employment through personalized career coaching, employer engagement, and targeted placement assistance. This role delivers virtual advising, cultivates and maintains employer relationships, and ensures accurate documentation to meet institutional placement objectives and compliance standards. This individual must be a self-motivated professional who thrives in a remote environment, demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills, and excels at building rapport virtually. The position requires the ability to manage multiple priorities, stay organized, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively as part of a distributed team.

Requirements

• Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Prior experience in career services, recruiting, workforce development, education, advising, or related field preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, virtual meeting platforms (Zoom/Teams), and preferred database systems.
• Experience with CRM or student information systems (CampusVue or similar) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist graduates with obtaining training-related employment through career coaching and job search support.
• Provide virtual advising including resume development, interview preparation, and professional skill building.
• Maintain ongoing communication with graduates to monitor employment progress.
• Develop and maintain employer partnerships to identify placement opportunities.
• Document student and employer interactions accurately within the student management system and other systems.
• Support compliance requirements related to placement verification and reporting.
• Collaborate with campus teams, program directors, and Career Services leadership.
• Participate in virtual meetings, trainings, and team initiatives as needed.
