About The Position

Application Data Steward I focuses on exhibitor customer data. Executes enterprise data policies and data standards for the ingestion, transformation, processing, exception handling and publishing of this critical data for events. This position will support our Data Management team. It is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in-office and/or show site 2-3 days per week. The ideal candidate will be located in Dallas, TX.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree preferred, High School Diploma or Equivalent with relevant work experience required.
  • 0-2 years of experience in a data steward role or equivalent data processing role.
  • Responsible for data entry, maintenance and accuracy, focusing on data quality and integrity.
  • Analyzes source documents containing customer information (exhibitor lists) to be entered into the Master Data Management tool, CMA, TSS and SAP.
  • Identifies and interprets data to be entered, resolving deficiencies and discrepancies through critical thinking and data manipulation.
  • Communicates with business partners regarding exhibitor list data issues to help reach resolution and establish expectations with clients.
  • Processes exhibitor lists provided by clients through the Master Data Management tool, CMA, TSS and SAP and meets service level goals.

Responsibilities

  • Basic knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures that apply in routine situations relating to exhibitor lists required (task management, data prepping, address verification, customer lookup, event/booth review, and verification of legal company names, DBAs, and trademarks).
  • Critical thinking skills required, including problem solving, analysis and interpretation, with strong attention to detail and ability to thoroughly review information while upholding service timelines.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills required. Excellent customer service skills over the phone and via email with internal and external customers required.
  • Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite preferred (MS Excel macros, Vlookup, tables).
  • Result oriented, diligent, and works with a sense of urgency.
  • Identifies and accomplishes challenging objectives or personal goals. Works effectively with others in an online, remote environment to achieve goals.
