The Career Navigator provides direction to identify developmental and career needs within the organization, propose development opportunities and/or resources to meet the current and future workforce demands, perform individualized career counseling/coaching and assessments to customize career planning and education. This role creates affiliations/partnerships with a variety of external training and educational programs to develop and/or upskill team members for future employment and advancement. The Career Navigator works collaboratively with the HR Team, including Benefits, Business Partners, and Recruitment Coordinators, as well as schools and higher learning organizations to design a variety of learning models and career opportunities. Responsibilities include participation in the design and deployment of Maury Regional Center for Career Development infrastructure and working with the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), System Director of Human Resources, Business Partners, the greater HR Team, and other key stakeholders. The role involves implementing programs/services and technology focused on both group and individualized workforce needs and planning, employment mobility and readiness, and retention of top talent. The Career Navigator utilizes defined metrics to measure program effectiveness and continuous improvement opportunities in the delivery of career advancement services and provides financial oversight.
