The Career Mobile Equipment Operator position is a great opportunity for a resilient, team-minded individual who does not stray away from a challenge. In this position you will perform activities related to processing, receiving, recording, storing, and/or shipping of raw materials/finished goods. Operate mobile equipment (heavy equipment, forklift, cranes, yard vehicle, lift truck) to move materials/products between warehouse/manufacturing facilities. May utilize computer software to identify materials/goods, ensure accuracy of purchase orders and maintain inventory. In this role, the Mobile Equipment Operator: Operates mobile equipment such as lift trucks, overhead cranes, track mobiles/switch engine and/or yard vehicles in order to move materials and products between workstations and/or receiving and storage locations. Ensures proper identification of parts and materials. Can operate a lift truck with over 15,000-pound capacity Overhead crane (stationary) certified (move across plant) May operate mobile crane (move across yard) Scissor lift Operates multiple pieces of mobile equipment including lift trucks with greater than 55K pound capacity Follows all safety rules and practices. May be involved in safety committees or initiatives. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating heavy mobile equipment in a manufacturing environment
  • Must be able to work day or night shift and overtime
  • Ability to stand and walk frequently, and at times consistently, throughout the shift
