About The Position

All Career Events Student Assistants are responsible for upholding career center values in all areas of work, assisting in planning, implementation, and marketing of career events to students, employers, staff and faculty. They aid in the event logistics and management of all career events, which includes approximately 15+ career fairs annually. The role supports management of the Gator CareerLink's Career Events module and provides timely and thorough customer service for career events email account and phone calls daily. Additionally, they conduct employer research for outreach efforts, assist with employer outreach campaigns through phone calls and emails, and deliver exceptional customer service in referring students, staff, faculty, and employers to appropriate services. Other duties may be assigned by the supervisor related to Career Events or the Career Connections Center.
