Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Experience working in a special needs school environment preferred
• A valid driver's license in good standing

Responsibilities

• Provide daily assistance to the Career Education off-campus program by supervising and transporting students and accompanying staff in the community
• Implement strategies to develop students’ work skills in community settings
• Report behavioral data and evaluate student progress
• Accompany students to off-campus worksites, observe performance, supervise work training, and provide job coaching
• Transport students and staff to community worksites
• Maintain positive working relationships with businesses in the community
• Obtain and maintain a commercial driver’s license (Class B or C) with P and S endorsements
• Attend meetings, workshops, training, and conferences as requested
• Assist the Career Education Department as needed
