The Career Development Specialist plays a vital role in advancing the mission and strategic priorities of Regis University by empowering students and alumni to discern purpose, pursue meaningful work, and navigate career pathways aligned with their values. This role provides inclusive, student-centered career counseling and comprehensive career development services to students and alumni across all academic colleges, while also supporting faculty and staff as partners in student success. The Career Development Specialist designs and delivers engaging workshops, classroom presentations, and programs focused on career exploration, vocational discernment, job and internship searches, and lifelong career readiness. Serving as a dedicated liaison to an assigned academic college, the Career Development Specialist builds strong relationships with faculty, employers, and campus partners to connect students with experiential learning opportunities and career outcomes—particularly in support of Regis’s Jesuit values, commitment to community building and belonging, as well as service to its diverse student populations. The ideal candidate is an effective communicator with strong oral, written, and interpersonal skills, capable of building positive, professional relationships across a wide range of stakeholders. They collaborate well with both internal and external teams and demonstrate adaptability in a dynamic environment.
