Career Counselors make difference in recovery You can be part of the difference that East House makes each day with individuals working through substance addiction and mental health recovery. East House helps thousands of clients and their families that are seeking residential and career support while in their recovery process both in residential programs and throughout the community. As a Career Counselor you will be responsible for assessing and teaching vocational skills while coaching and motivate individuals to achieve their goals. You will play an essential role as a Career Coun selor in facilitating groups to assist individuals in career exploration, college planning, locating employment and integrating career objectives with their current mental health and substance recovery programs. The Career Counselor is the liaison between the individual and coordinated services such as assisted volunteer opportunities, visiting employer sites and touring community skills training and education programs.
