About The Position

The Career Coach plays a vital role in supporting students with disabilities as they prepare for meaningful employment and post-secondary education. This position involves planning and developing programming for students in the Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS) program, collaborating with Vocational Rehabilitation, and advocating for student choices in service providers.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED with one year of experience in special education, supported employment, or transition service delivery.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Services.

Nice To Haves

• Proficient skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Support students with disabilities in preparing for community employment and post-secondary education options.
• Plan and develop programming for students participating in the Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS) program.
• Work closely with Vocational Rehabilitation to coordinate job matches and identify support needs for students.
• Advocate for the promotion of student choices in providers.
