Within this vision, the Carlson Business Career Center's goal is to deliver best in class career services that equip Carlson students and alumni with knowledge, tools, resources, and support to secure meaningful roles that align with their interests and goals. The Career Coach, part of the Undergraduate Career Development team within the Carlson Business Career Center, provides comprehensive career coaching and development support to Carlson's 3,300+ undergraduate students. Utilizing a deep knowledge of design thinking and career development theory, this individual will empower students to confidently bring their whole selves to the career search as they explore various fields of interest. This role also requires expertise in a specialized business industry to effectively prepare students for competitive job searches within those sectors. As the Career Coach, this person will offer personalized, one-on-one support throughout all phases of the career and job search process. Additionally, as an educator, they will co-create and teach sections of the Carlson-required career course (BA 2021) each year.
