Latino Network’s Career Coach will assist families to maintain benefits while helping them to engage in training and occupational coaching towards the goal of career-track employment in targeted industries through WorkSource Portland Metro and other programs. The Career Coach will work collaboratively with clients to develop a career plan, provide long-term, individualized coaching and guidance, and build positive relationships and trust with clients and community partners in order to support training and employment goals. This position requires consistent contact with clients, data entry into multiple databases, including Efforts to Outcomes and I-Trac, and regular communication with Latino Network staff, WorkSource Portland Metro, and community partners. Other requirements include excellent follow through, attention to detail, professional writing skills, excellent time management and communication through in-person meetings, phone and email, and excellent verbal and written communication in Spanish and English.
