About The Position
TrinityRail Maintenance Services, Inc. is searching for a talented team player to full the open position of Career Chemical Cleaner 1st shift at our Shell Rock, IA facility. TRMS provides a complete array of railcar maintenance services. As a member of the Chemical Cleaning team at Trinity, you’ll determine and complete appropriate cleaning process of product. You’ll handle and maintain cleaning equipment and materials, including hazardous chemicals. The person in this position will apply knowledge of chemicals and cleaning procedures to assignments.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience
Responsibilities
- Purge surfaces with water and/or non-hazardous chemicals
- Operate hand-held blast
- Maintain and troubleshoot equipment and work environment
- Follow all safety rules and practices
- May be involved in safety committees or initiative
- Perform other duties as assigned
